This page outlines the terms and conditions that govern your booking with Asteria Retreats, located in Vileimil 36, Spain. The latest review of these terms was conducted on 14 September 2024.

Booking Terms and Conditions

It is the guest’s responsibility to verify the booking details and ensure the accuracy of the information provided.

As the business is registered in Spain, all payments must be made in euros.

1.1 Deposit

To confirm a reservation, a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total amount for each guest named in the booking must be paid to Asteria Retreats. 

If the deposit is not paid within 48 hours of requesting a booking, Asteria Retreats reserves the right to cancel the tentative reservation.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and deposit payment within 48 hours.

1.2 Full Payment

The total balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your scheduled arrival. This due date will be communicated at the time of booking.

Failure to pay the full amount by the due date will result in the cancellation of your reservation, and all payments made up to that point are non-refundable.

You will receive an email confirming the receipt of the full payment.

Your booking is not considered final until Asteria Retreats has received the full payment for your stay.

  1. Payment Methods

We accept only payments via Bank Transfer, Revolut & Paypal with the Reference Intuitive Astrology Retreats. We do not accept cards. Make sure to include the Room you want in the email and pay the amount of that selected room. You can´t pay another amount than mentioned for the requested room. 

We will send you a request from bookings@asteriaretreats.com. 

We also accept bank transfers to our Spanish account. Banking details will be provided upon request. 

Payment via PayPal is available upon request. 

By making the full payment, you agree to the terms and conditions set by Asteria Retreats for your stay.

  1. Cancellation by the Guest

If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund policy applies, excluding the non-refundable deposit:

  • Cancellation within 7 day of booking: Full refund minus €25 administration costs + Commission fee in case of Paypal for the refund
  • Cancellation 30 days or less before arrival: No refund.
  • Cancellation more than 30 days before the arrival date: Full refund minus the deposit. 
  1. Cancellation by Asteria Retreats

Asteria Retreats reserves the right to cancel a retreat under certain circumstances. If this happens, we will provide a full refund of all payments made.

It is advisable to obtain travel insurance to cover your transportation expenses, as we do not provide refunds for such costs. This due to illness, or unforeseen events. 

  1. Amendments by the Guest

Guests can amend their bookings up to 30 days before arrival before paying the full amount. Amendments may include changes in guest numbers and room type. If the amount changes, you pay the difference in between the deposit and full payment 30 days upon arrival. 

If you need to reschedule your retreat, it must be taken within 12 months of the original booking. And must be rescheduled 2 months before the retreat and has an extra cost of Each amendment incurs a €100 fee. 

The new booking will be recalculated based on current prices at the time of amendment, not the original booking rates. 

  1. Amendments by Asteria Retreats

Asteria Retreats reserves the right to make adjustments to the retreat schedule, such as class times. If necessary, we will inform you of significant changes as soon as possible. If we need to adjust your accommodation, we will do our best to offer an equivalent or better option.

  1. Shuttle Transportation 

We provide a free shuttle-service only from A Pontenova to Vileimil 36, the destination of the retreat and back the same way from Vileimil 36 to A Pontenova. Upon arrival of the retreat we provide a shuttle service between 10:00 – 16:00. On the day of departure we will provide a shuttle service between 7:00 -08:00 and between 11:00 – 18:00. Any times outside of these hours you are responsible for your own transport. 

Transfers are available during specific times, and you must notify us of your travel details at least 72 hours before arrival.

Transfers are coordinated with an external provider, and may involve grouping with other travelers. Asteria Retreats is not responsible for delays or changes made by the transfer provider.

  1. Check-in and Check-out Times

Check-in is from 2 PM, and check-out is by 3 PM . If you arrive early or need to leave later, we provide luggage storage and changing facilities. 

  1. Arrival Time

Guests are expected to arrive at the retreat by 10 PM to avoid disrupting other participants. Late arrivals may be subject to additional charges, according to our late arrival policy.

  1. Group Bookings

For group bookings, the lead guest must have the authority to act on behalf of the other members. A non-refundable deposit is required for each group member.

If the group causes disturbances, Asteria Retreats reserves the right to ask any or all members to leave without a refund.

  1. Minimum Age

Guests must be at least 18 years old to attend the Intuitive Astrology Retreats. Any other type of event than Intuitive Astrology Retreats, guests under 18 are welcome with legal guardians. 

  1. Travel Insurance

We require all guests to have valid travel insurance when booking. Your policy should cover activities, cancellations, and other potential risks during your stay.

  1. Local Regulations

Under Spanish law, we are required to collect guest information for registration with local authorities. You will need to show an ID or passport at check-in.

  1. Accommodation

For solo travelers booking shared accommodation, we will assign a roommate of the same gender unless otherwise arranged.

  1. Travel Arrangements

All travel arrangements are your responsibility and cost. We are not liable for issues arising from delays or cancellations with your travel providers.

  1. Late Arrivals and Fees

If you arrive late, after 10 PM, a late arrival fee of €50 unless you have a proof of delay. 

  1. Your Health

We recommend consulting your doctor before attending the retreat, especially if you have any health concerns. If your health condition is deemed incompatible with our activities, we reserve the right to cancel your booking or ask you to leave.

If you experience any discomfort or injury during your stay, please inform a team member immediately. Also this is no replacement for a doctor, of health advice. Astrology is just for entertainment. 

  1. Dietary Changes

Our menu is vegan and we have vegetarian options. We recommend you to check in with your healthcare provider before attending. Also regarding allergies. 

  1. Smoking and Vaping

Asteria Retreats is a non-smoking environment. Guests found smoking or vaping in rooms or communal areas will be charged a €100 cleaning fee

  1. Lost Property

We ask that you check your room thoroughly before leaving. If items are left behind, it is your responsibility to arrange a courier for retrieval. Asteria Retreats will package the items for collection, with a minimum packaging fee of €5.

  1. Liability

We accept responsibility for ensuring that the retreat meets the promised standards. However, we do not accept liability for disruptions caused by factors beyond our control, such as wars, pandemics, or travel issues.

All activities at the retreat are undertaken at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries, medical conditions, or psychiatric conditions that may arise during or after your stay.

  1. Unacceptable Behavior

If a guest displays unreasonable or disruptive behavior, Asteria Retreats reserves the right to ask them to leave without a refund.

  1. Property Damage

If you damage any property or furnishings at Asteria Retreats, we reserve the right to charge you for the repairs. If the damage is discovered after your departure, the charge will be made with payment method you paid your stay with.

  1. Removal of Property

Guests found to have taken property without consent will be charged for its replacement, including any shipping costs and a fine of € 500. 

  1. Complaints

If you encounter any problems during your stay, please notify the retreat manager immediately. If issues are not resolved during your stay, complaints can be submitted in writing within 30 days of your departure to info@asteriaretreats.com.

We will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to provide a full response within 5 working days.

  1. CCTV

CCTV is installed in communal areas for the safety of our guests and staff.

  1. As a retreat host 

If you host a retreat on our property you are responsible for all of the above points. You handle all the incidents with the guests directly.
